| "Femme Fatale"
H 65" x W 32" x D 4" (2002) (Fabrics, wire, found objects; heat transfers, asemblage) Obviously this is a female shape that has been in trouble, so much so that she lost one shoulder and one leg
But in spite of all these mutilations, she can still be a "femme fatale"! The spiral embroidered on the back layer is there to instill the feeling of being lured by her. The top layer testifies to much time-consuming working and reworking at tiny details with threads, beads, and small, beautifying, mixed-media trinkets |
