"Nike Revisited"

Set in acrylic box, H 8" x W 8" x D 2", (2005)

(Organza, threads, plastic toys; painting, heat transfers, assemblage).

The front side shows soldiers attacking Nike by the robe, (— Nike is the Greek Goddess of Victory). On the back side, a face painted by Michelangelo, is chosen to symbolize concern and grief in connection with the front scene.
